You do not have to have large pores anymore. Microdermabrasion is not the only method of getting smaller pores. Although the majority of people who have large pores get them through genetics, there are plenty of individuals who get large pores, because they have acne or have gotten older. Non-genetic large pores occur when facial pores expand to accommodate for increased oil outputs by the skin.  As a result of large pores, more dirt, environmental debris, and oil is trapped into pores. This only leads to leading to a greater amount of acne and acne scars.  To reduce your large pores, take the following steps:

Step #1: Stop Using Harsh Acne Products that Contain Alcohols, Acids, or Peroxides. According to skincare specialist Janet Filderman, the best tactic for treating large pores is to stop using harsh toners or astringents on the affected areas. 'Using these products may have a very temporary 'tightening' effect on pores, but it's extremely short-lived,' she explains. 'The alcohol in the products cause the capillaries to dilate and the tiny erectile muscles of the pores to tighten, making pores look temporarily smaller.' Yet, harsh astringents actually encourage oil glands to over-produce oil, leading to an increase in the size of pores.

Step #2: Use a Quality Exfoliating Sugar Scrub. Sugar has been used for centuries in skin care. Sugar provides natural alpha hydroxy acids to smooth fine lines, shrink pores, gently remove dulling dirt, toxins, blackheads, and exfoliate dead cells from the skin. The best pore shrinking sugar scrub is available in the “U Big Pore Baby" pore reduction system, which is made by Beauty 4 Ashes. The “U Big Pore Baby" pore reduction system combines the benefits of sugar with over 10 other natural pore shrinking ingredients, including clinically researched essential oils. The system also uses citrus fruits to tighten the skin naturally. You can find the system online at wwwdiscoverb4acom.

Step #3: Make a Homemade Pore Shrinking Mask. Mix 2 egg whites, 1 tablespoon of lemon juice, and 1 teaspoon of apple cider vinegar. This may smell, but your pores will love it. Apply this mask to your face and it allow it to sit on for 7 to 10 minutes. Remove the mask by rinsing with warm water. Then follow by applying witch hazel to your large pore areas.

Step #4:  Limit how much make up you wear on your cheeks or areas that have large pores. Heavy foundations will clog your pores and only make them larger. If you have to wear make up to work and in public then it is fine. Just remove it when you get home or after work and reapply it when you go back out to dinner or shopping.

You can reduce large pores without spending tons of money. It just takes time and a commitment to cleanse your skin regularly.

Large Pore Solution. I tried a product called "concealapore" a couple of days ago, and have used it every day. It is AMAZING! I have a VERY large open pore on my cheek, and I was always very self conscious about it. I was always trying to find something to cover it with. "concealapore" is IT! I keep looking in a mirror as I cannot believe how well it hides my big ugly pore. WOW! I have discovered a miracle with this product. Please share it with your readers if they are concerned about the look of their large pores. Your website is very helpful. I found a great product and wanted to share it. Kelly Fell
